RUNNER

The Runner serves our world class food. From this person, we expect one to have passion for food and to be able to present with enthusiasm, energy and a sense of urgency. We are looking for individuals who are organised and constantly moving to offer the support needed for our waiters. Without the runner, the waiter cannot fulfil their job. 400 Gradi Runners must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

WAITER

The Waiter is the face of the restaurant. The primary job of a waiter at 400 Gradi is to deliver the experience to our guests. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, passionate and confident. Above all else, 400 Gradi strives for individuals with personality who can deliver not just an excellent meal, but the Neapolitan experience. 400 Gradi Waiters must have a positive attitude. HOST

The Host is the first impression of the restaurant. An individual who can take pride in 400 Gradi and welcome guests as if it were their home. We are looking for individuals with great experience in hospitality, able to make guests feel welcome and can take charge of reservations. Must have basic understanding of computers. 400 Gradi Hosts must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

SUPERVISOR

The Supervisor works on the floor, coordinating the Runners and Waiters in according sections of the restaurant. They pull the 400 Gradi team together and drive them towards one goal; looking after our guests. 400 Gradi are looking for individuals with restaurant experience who can prove their availability to motivate and deliver the Gradi Gold Service. 400 Gradi Supervisors must have a positive attitude. ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Assistant Restaurant Manager leads the front of house operation from the reservation desk to table and bar service. We are looking for people with experience in managing large and fast paced restaurant operations. The ability to motivate their team and to ensure the whole team deliver the Gradi Gold Service without exception. 400 Gradi Assistant Managers must have a positive attitude. VENUE MANAGER

The Venue Manager is in charge of the overall restaurant from front and back of house. The Venue Manager will primarily be in the restaurant during the service time where they will oversee the operation; floor, host desk, bar and keeping eyes on the kitchen operation to ensure a smooth service and all food is served to our high standard. The Venue Manager will also be in charge of cost management, hiring, training, quality control and revenue generation. We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role with restaurant service, bar service and culinary experience. 400 Gradi Venue Managers must have a positive attitude. Bar Positions

BAR RUNNER

The Bar Runner deliver beverages to the table and assists in making our unique drinks to our high standards. We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm for beverage service, a sense of urgency and hunger to learn more. 400 Gradi Bar Runners must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

BARTENDER

The Bartender makes 400 Gradi's unique and exiting beverages to our high standards. We expect a basic understanding of liquors and methods from this individual. Must be hospitality orientated, friendly, energetic and passionate. Creativity is also beneficial. 400 Gradi Bartenders must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

BAR SUPERVISOR

The Bar Supervisor coordinates the bar operation ensuring all beverages are made and served to our high standards and that all team members follow the Gradi Gold Standards. 400 Gradi are looking for individuals with experience working in a fast paced environment. Must have an understanding of drink-making techniques, foundation level wine knowledge and basic understanding of bar finances will be preferred. 400 Gradi Bar Supervisors must have a positive attitude. BAR MANAGER

The Bar Manager takes full control of all beverage operation; from quality control, costings, ordering and training the bar team to deliver the 400 Gradi Gold Standards. This individual needs to have extensive knowledge of liquors and drink-making techniques, intermediate wine knowledge and full understanding of bar finances and computer skills. 400 Gradi Bar Managers must have a positive attitude. Kitchen Positions

KITCHEN HAND

The Kitchen Hand assists with dish washing and basic food preparation. We look for individuals who are willing to learn, who we can teach our culinary trade and develop within the kitchen. 400 Gradi Kitchen Hands must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

COMMIs CHEF

The Commis Chef performs culinary preparation and follows recipes, taking instruction and care in the products they create. We are looking for individuals who are committed to learning the culinary arts, have a passion for food and want to grow through the kitchen ranks at 400 Gradi. 400 Gradi Commis Chefs must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

CHEF DE PARTIE

The Chef de Partie will lead a section of the kitchen whether that be cold entree, hot entree, pasta or sauté. This individual will follow recipes and achieve the high standard of food every single time. We are looking for people who have experience within a fast paced quality restaurant with an advanced understanding of culinary techniques, recognition of high quality produce, works well under pressure and is committed to excellence.  400 Gradi Chef de Parties must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

SOUS CHEF

The Sous Chef is the right hand to the Head Chef who will lead the kitchen team with the Head Chef and too, on behalf, of the Head Chef. This individual will coordinate the kitchen team to ensure our high quality food is delivered in each dish and ensure the kitchen always runs efficiently and smoothly. The Sous Chef will ensure preparation is correct, ready and in appropriate quantities for each service. We are looking for people who have experience in fast paced high level restaurants with high level culinary knowledge, kitchen organisation skills and understanding of kitchen finances. 400 Gradi Sous Chefs must have a positive attitude. ASSISTANT PIZZA CHEF

The Assistant Pizza Chef is responsible for making our signature product, 'The Neapolitan pizza' to our award winning standard. We are looking for someone who has an understanding and experience in making Neapolitan pizza, from the dough to the high quality products we use on the pizza, to correct cooking methods in using our wood fired ovens. 400 Gradi Assistant Pizza Chefs must have a positive attitude. HEAD PIZZA CHEF

The Head Pizza Chef is responsible for the preparation, creation and service of all pizzas that are served in venue. The pizza section works autonomously from the rest of the kitchen, though is still under the authority of the Head Chef. The Head Pizza Chef will control the budgets of the pizza, including labour and food costs. We are looking for someone who is well experienced in the art of Neapolitan pizza making, leadership experience in a Neapolitan restaurant and has an understanding of how kitchen finances work. 400 Gradi Head Pizza Chefs must have a positive attitude. HEAD CHEF

The Head Chef will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operation. Ordering and quality control of all produce, recipe execution, kitchen organisation, cost management, scheduling of the kitchen team and running a smooth service operation. We are looking for someone who has a great level of food knowledge and has experience as a Head Chef in quality and a large volume restaurant. This individual must understand kitchen finances, leadership skills and most importantly, deliver our high quality food with each dish served.  400 Gradi Head Chefs must have a positive attitude. PATISSERIE CHEF

The Patisserie Chef will work as part of our central pastry team to create desserts, cakes and gelato for our 400 Gradi Restaurants and Zero Gradi Gelateria. We are looking for someone with Patisserie experience in a bakery or restaurant who can follow recipes and express flare in cake design. 400 Gradi Patisserie Chefs must have a positive attitude. Cafe Positions - Zero Gradi

CAFE ATTENDANT

Cafe attendants within the Gradi Group work at Zero Gradi, our Gelateria. This individual will be taking orders, serving coffee, desserts and of course, gelato. The cafe attendant will be responsible for serving our valued customers and finalising both orders and payments. We are looking for someone who has a warm and welcoming personality and can work independently with a sense of urgency. Basic barista skills are preferred though not required. Zero Gradi cafe attendants must have a positive attitude. We will teach you the rest.

HEAD BARISTA

Head Baristas are Zero Gradi's supervisors. This individual is responsible for supervising the team of cafe attendants to ensure they deliver excellent customer service, beverages are served to company specifications and the operation as a whole runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who has worked in a gelateria or cafe previously with barista experience. This individual must be able to use initiative, have a keen eye for detail and have leadership qualities.  Zero Gradi Head Baristas must have a positive attitude.
